Child Support

Generally, a child support order can be modified upward or downward due to a parent’s income increasing or decreasing substantially and/or the cost of taking care of your child changes significantly. If the change in either party’s income would cause the presumptive sum of child support to change at least 15% higher or lower from the previous order, you likely are able to modify your child support obligation.
