Mediation
Lawyers With An Understanding Of The Divorce And Mediation Process
Mediation is a powerful tool for resolving potential conflicts in divorce. The stress and expense of divorce multiplies when potential areas of dispute are not effectively managed. Mediation allows both parties to express their perspectives with a neutral party who is committed to facilitating an effective resolution.
Our firm provides several types of mediation services:
- Mediation for couples — In these situations, our attorneys act as a neutral third party helping individuals review their options. Our goal as mediators is to foster the communication necessary to avoid conflict and make reaching an agreement that much more likely. We offer individual and male/female mediation teams to create greater comfort levels when necessary.
- Consultants — We offer legal consultation to clients who are mediating outside our firm providing evaluation of proposals relative to their interests so they can negotiate their best results under the circumstances. Our extensive experience with mediation can help increase our clients’ potential for success as well as make them more comfortable with the process.
- Special Masters/Arbitrators – We provide settlement services to couples and their lawyers seeking experienced, neutral facilitation and guidance or evaluation for settlement in a private out-of-court setting. When desirable, we will also serve as arbitrators of issues appropriate for resolution in that manner.
Making the most of the advantages mediation offers can help you secure a divorce agreement that works well for you now and into the future.
“We can arrange telephonic or online divorce mediation and online family mediation conferences when it is not possible for one or more of the participants to physically attend the mediation.”
