Brian Lamaj is a member of the Commercial Law and Real Estate Departments in the firm’s Glastonbury office.

Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Lamaj represented municipal entities and property owners in land use and municipal law matters, including appeals of planning and zoning commission and zoning board of appeals decisions, and zoning enforcement actions. That experience continues to inform his transactional practice, where questions of nonconforming use, variances, and pending applications frequently bear on a property’s marketability.

Attorney Lamaj graduated cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he was recognized for Excellence in Clinical Education. During law school, he served as a legal intern at the State of Connecticut Office of the Attorney General, representing the Connecticut Department of Labor in unemployment compensation appeals and bringing civil penalty actions against employers for wage violations.

Attorney Lamaj is admitted to practice in Connecticut and serves as Membership Director of the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. He is also a member of the Hartford County Bar Association.

Attorney Lamaj holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Connecticut.
