FDA Issues Warning on Certain Dog Food

Several pet food brands have been recalled for excessively high levels of Vitamin D, over 70 times the recommended daily allowance for pets which can lead to renal complications, gastrointestinal issues and can even be fatal in dogs.

BPS Attorney Bruce Newman, who served as plaintiffs’ class counsel In Re: Pet Food Products Liability Litigation where over 100 brands of pet food were recalled in 2007 and also served as class counsel in cases against Nestle Purina involving the recall of Chinese imported dog treats in 2013 is currently investigating these claims.
