Michael Addison is a member of the Business and Corporate Law Department in the firm’s Glastonbury office. He counsels companies and business owners across several industries and at various stages in their corporate life cycle. His experience includes advising startups on formation and capital raising matters, providing external general counsel services to closely held businesses, and representing companies in private mergers and acquisitions transactions.
Attorney Addison’s broad transactional experience covers a range of areas, including negotiating commercial contracts and service agreements, intellectual property protection, and general corporate governance and organizational issues. In addition to his transactional work, Attorney Addison has also provided legal and compliance advisory services to financial services institutions. This includes experience working in the legal and compliance department of a leading global hedge fund based in Connecticut, where he helped implement compliance programs and executed on legal process transformation projects.
Attorney Addison is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law and earned his bachelor’s degree from Yale University. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
