Hollianne Lao is a member of the Civil Litigation Department in the firm’s Glastonbury office. Her practice includes matters related to contract and real estate disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, probate litigation, and personal injury cases.
Attorney Lao graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she also earned her Certificate in Human Rights Law. While in law school, she successfully obtained a grant of asylum for a pro bono client through the UConn Law Asylum and Human Rights Clinic. Attorney Lao served as Managing Editor of the Connecticut Journal of International Law, President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, a class representative for the Student Bar Association, and Vice President of the Human Rights Law Association.
Attorney Lao is admitted to practice in the state of Connecticut and serves on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut Asian Pacific American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Hartford County Bar Association, and the CBA Young Lawyers Section.
Attorney Lao graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in political science and human rights with a minor in economics. She grew up in Wallingford, Connecticut and enjoys watching women’s basketball (go Huskies!), trying new places to eat, and hanging out with her cat, Bixby.
