A 50-year-old Man Driving a 2001 Subaru Forester Struck a Light Pole Near Exit 39 on I-84 in Farmington

Everyone knows that drivers in Connecticut and throughout the country are responsible for exercising due caution on the road. Recently, a 50-year-old man driving a 2001 Subaru Forester struck a light pole near Exit 39 on I-84 in Farmington, causing traffic delays and critically injuring one of his passengers. He was taken to Hartford Hospital by ambulance along with three other passengers who sustained minor injuries.

This particular accident apparently involved only one car, which the driver lost control of. After hitting the light pole, the vehicle rolled a couple of times before coming to a stop on the metal beam of a guardrail.

Police say the driver was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. If they were unaware of this fact, the passengers in the car may have a case to sue the driver for their injuries.
