Caitlin E. Zarella is a member of the Family Law department at Brown, Paindiris & Scott. Attorney Zarella’s practice is dedicated to all areas of family and matrimonial law, including matters of divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, post-divorce modifications, and domestic violence.

Prior to joining the firm, Caitlin worked for the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch for over a decade, where for much of her time she worked as a supervisor in the family division of the Superior Court. In that role she has spent thousands of hours in the courtroom on family matters and gained considerable insight on courtroom procedures, decision making, and successful advocacy.

Caitlin graduated from Western New England University School of Law in 2012. While studying, Caitlin also worked at the Massachusetts Assistant Attorney General’s Office as well as the United States Postal Service’s Legal Division. Caitlin was also awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Administrative Law.

Caitlin holds a bachelor’s degree in Justice and Law Administration from Western Connecticut State University (2005) where she was admitted to the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.

Caitlin is a lifelong resident of Connecticut, an alumnus of Holy Cross High School in Waterbury and currently resides in Farmington with her husband and three children.
