David Jaffe recently settled a lawsuit against Lake Compounce Amusement Park. The case involved a five year old boy who was walking hand in hand with his mother when a visibly dead oak tree, located in a busy area of the amusement park failed and a large branch fell from it and fatally struck the young boy on the head.

"This was an awful case where the unthinkable happened. While no amount af money can restore the little boy's life, I believe it was important to craft a case which resulted in as much justice as possible under such tragic circumstances," said Attorney Jaffe.

The amounts of the settlement is confidential.
