David K. Jaffe was recently quoted in the Hartford Courant regarding the wrongful death suit filed on December 2, 2005 by the parents of a 5-year-old boy who was killed by a falling tree limb at Lake Compounce. “This was the worst tragedy a parent could imagine, that a young child, their only child, could be taken away from them while he was holding his mother’s hand.” Jaffe said that the parents decided to file the lawsuit after they unsuccessfully tried to resolve the issue through a mediator.
