Attorney Bridget C. Gallagher is a cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School and has been in private practice in Hartford County since 1994, focusing on transactional work, corporate law and real estate based related litigation.  Her litigation experience includes boundary disputes, prescriptive rights claims, corporate litigation, commercial lease disputes, zoning appeals, complex tax appeals and mechanics lien disputes. 

Attorney Gallagher also has extensive experience in all aspects of business and real estate closings and has represented developers, lenders, buyers and sellers.  Attorney Gallagher has considerable experience in analysis of title problems and in the creation of potential solutions for such issues. 

Attorney Gallagher has represented many homeowners buying or selling homes in Connecticut and has tremendous amount of experience in representing clients in the purchase or sale of new construction homes in Connecticut.

She has used her skills to help both builders and homeowners navigate through the technical legal requirements relating to new home construction and home improvement contracts.  She represents numerous Connecticut contractors and subcontractors in the preparation and collection of mechanics liens, as well as in the resolution of disputes relating to construction contracts. 

Attorney Gallagher has experience in the formation of Connecticut corporations, limited liability companies and other business entities for a variety of start-up business ventures.  She represents many business owners with respect to issues relating to their corporate needs as well as day-to-day needs such as addressing contractual issues and analyzing certain statutory or regulatory compliance issues.

These areas of concentration have led her to develop a specialized knowledge of many real estate related practice areas such as leasing, including leasehold financing, all phases of condominium and planned unit development work and construction related matters. 

Attorney Gallagher also has used her transactional and corporate experience to represent many individuals in buying or selling their small business in Connecticut.  She has handled all aspects of business closings, from contract to closing.  This work has encompassed the purchase and sale of liquor stores, including the preparation of Connecticut liquor license applications, gas stations, restaurants and various other businesses.  She has represented many franchisees and her familiarity with several major national franchises provides an advantage to her clients when seeking approval of a purchase and sale, negotiating lease terms and seeking financing. 

Attorney Gallagher works primarily from the Glastonbury office and maintains regular office hours in the firm's Bristol office.  She is admitted to practice in Connecticut as well as for the United State District Court of Connecticut.
