The law firm of Brown Paindiris & Scott, LLP will be hosting a series of free walk-in legal clinics at its Bristol office every Saturday in the month of March. The firm, which recently opened its Bristol office, will host these clinics for the residents of Bristol and its surrounding communities. Residents who participate are asked to bring a food donation. At the end of the month, all food items will be donated to Bristol's Christian Fellowship Center Storehouse food pantry which provides groceries to more than 900 Bristol families each week.
The clinic will be staffed by a team of skilled and experienced attorneys with ties to the Bristol area. The attorneys will meet with Bristol residents and will be able to advise them on a variety of areas of law including child custody and child support, wills, divorce, bankruptcy, foreclosure, consumer issues, landlord/tenant disputes, and business formation, among others.
Attorney Barry Armata, who joined the firm last May, has been practicing law in Bristol for the past 20 years. "I'm excited to introduce this law firm to the City of Bristol. I've worked with Bristol residents for years, and I know that Brown Paindiris & Scott will be a good fit here. I know our attorneys will work hard for the people of Bristol," Armata said.
BPS attorney Simon Lebo said the clinics will be a great way to acquaint the firm with the Bristol community. "These clinics will provide a beneficial service to Bristol residents, especially in these tough economic times," Lebo said. Lebo has been practicing law with the firm for more than ten years and is a Bristol-area resident.
The clinics will be held on March 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Brown Paindiris & Scott's Bristol office located at 747 Stafford Avenue, just off Route 6 by Steven's Auto Mall. For more information please call 860-266-4278.
