Attorney Jodie Comer joined Brown, Paindiris and Scott in 2011 and concentrates her practice in family law. Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Comer was a Staff Attorney for the Children's Law Center of Connecticut representing children in high conflict custody cases. In addition to handling child custody matters, her services include all aspects of divorce and family law, as well as juvenile law matters and probate guardianship matters.

Attorney Comer is a graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law and earned an honors concentration certificate in Family and Juvenile law. She earned her Bachelors degree from the University of Maine and has a Masters degree from the University of Connecticut in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child Development. She is also currently completing her PhD in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child Development and Child Welfare from the University of Connecticut.

Attorney Comer is admitted to practice law in Connecticut. In addition to practicing law, Attorney Comer is an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut, teaching undergraduate courses in family studies, family law, and child welfare.
