Hon. Donald L. Hamer
Attorney Donald Hamer has been practicing in the areas of estate planning and probate administration for many years and joined Brown, Paindiris & Scott in 1997. Attorney Hamer was instrumental in the creation of the Probate and Estates section of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Group at Brown, Paindiris & Scott.
Attorney Hamer regularly lectures on the subject of conservator ships, as well as ethical, legal and moral issues involved in end-of-life decision-making. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, Maryland and the District of Columbia. He served as the Judge of Probate for the District of Glastonbury from 1990 to 2004. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, a past President of the Connecticut Probate Assembly, and a past alternate member of the Council on Probate Judicial Conduct and the National College of Probate Judges.
In 2000, Attorney Hamer was ordained a priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut, and currently serves as Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Hartford.
